0,6% more passengers over November

The total number of passengers to date for 2009, is down by 9%

For November in 2009, a total of 12.825 passengers have arrived and departed through the airport. This is 0,6% more compared to November of last year, when the corresponding figure was 12.752.

For November of this year, there have been 354 arrival and departure flight operations. This is an increase of 6,0% compared to November of last year when the corresponding flight operations were 334.

Over the first ten months of 2009, a total of 190.936 passengers have arrived and departed through Vagar Airport. This is 8,4% less compared to the corresponding period in 2008, when the figure was 208.368.

Over the first eleven months of this year, 4.506 aircraft have arrived and departed through the airport. This represents a decrease of 11,5% compared to the corresponding period last year, when 5.090 aircraft arrived and departed.

The total amount of airfreight lifted over the first eleven months of 2009, was 8,8% larger compared to the corresponding period last year. A total of 810,2 tons in 2209, compared to 744,4 tons for 2008.
