25% fewer passengers over March

The first quarter of 2009 saw 36.810 passengers arrive and depart through the airport

For March, a total of 13.371 passengers came through the airport. This is 24,9% less compared to the same month last year, when passenger figures showed 17.812.

The first quarter of 2009 saw a total of 36.810 passengers come through the airport. This is 17,4% less compared to the first quarter of last year, when the corresponding figure was 44.589.

Over March, 317 aircraft arrived and departed. This is 30,3% less than March of last year when 455 aircraft came through the airport.
For the first quarter, 885 aircraft arrived and departed. This is 34,4% less compared to the first quarter of last year when 1.350 aircraft came through the airport.

For March the total amount of airfreight transported was 54 tons corresponding to 7,1% less than March of last year, when amount of airfreight transported was 58 tons.
The total amount of airfreight for the first quarter of 2009 was 156,6 tons, corresponding to 12,3% less than the 178,6 tons transported over the first quarter of 2008.
