4,5% fewer passengers for October

Over the first 10 months 8,9% fewer passengers have through the airport

For October of 2009, 17.203 passengers have departed and arrived through the airport. This is 4,5% less compared to October of last year, when the corresponding figure was 18.022.

For October there have been 422 arrival and departure flights. This is 12,5% more compared to October of last year, when there were 375 arrival and departure flights.

Over the first 10 months of 2009, a total of 178.111 passengers have arrived and departed through Vagar Airport. This is 8,9% less compared to the corresponding period last year, when the figure was 195.616.

Over the first 10 months of this year, 4.152 arrival and departure aircraft came through the airport. This is 12,7% less compared to the corresponding period last year, when 4.756 aircraft arrived and departed through the airport.

The total amount of airfreight lifted over the first 10 months of 2009, was 7,4% more compared to the same period for 2009. A total of 734,6 tons this year, compared to 683,7 tons last year.
