New Bell-412 helicopter

The new Atlantic Airways Bell-412 helicopter lands for the first time at Vagar Airport.

On the 7th. of June 2007 the Bell-412 helicopter, which Atlantic Airways acquisitioned last year, had its maiden landing at Vagar Airport.

The helicopter, which was built in 1993, has been registered as OY-HSJ. It has a maximum takeoff load of 5.398 kg. and will transport upto 13 passengers.

During the period since the the helicopter was acquisitioned it has been stationed in the Danish town of Odense, where it has been refurbished.
