Passenger numbers continue to grow

13,7% increase in passengers over January

In January of 2007, a total of 12.738 passengers arrived and departed through Vagar Airport. This is 13,7% more, compared to January of last year, when the corresponding figure was 11.204.

90% of all these passengers travelled on routes to and from Denmark. The growth recorded on these routes was 14,1%.

Over January of 2007, a total of 354 flight arrival and departure operations was recorded at Vagar Airport. This is 9,7% less compared to last year, when the corresponding figure was 392.
