The concentration of volcanic ash in the airspace around the Faroe Islands is back at a ”higher level” (zone 1)

This means:

The airspace around the Faroe Islands is closed until 12:00 UTC, 13:00 local time 7 April 2010.

The airspace around the Faroe Islands is ”Vagar TIZ” and is the airspace, within a 60 NM radius with centre in Boran at Nolsø, from GROUND to 7.500 feet (apprx. 2½ km).


When the level of volcanic ash in the airspace changes, new updates will follow.
