Vagar Airport a no smoking environment

Effective February 1st Vagar Airport will be a no smoking environment

To enable us to achieve the objectives set forth in the tobacco legislation Act, which states quote: "The objective of this legislation Act, is to ensure the right for all to a smoke-free environment, and the undertaking of actions to reduce the harmful effects of tobacco" end of quote, Vagar Airport is declared a no smoking area, as of the 1st. of February 2007.

Due to the limited space available at the airport, it is not possible to provide a special room for smokers. Therefore, smoking may only be conducted outdoors.
