Slot request

Valid from 1st July 2021 Vagar Airport/EKVG is classified as IATA Level 2 airport (schedules faciliteted) which makes it mandatory to apply for slots via SCR/SMA requests.

Information regarding slot requests at Vagar Airport:

Extra opening: For flights scheduled outside opening hours, please send required opening request form directly to airport on upplating@floghavn.fo . If approved an opening fee will be charged.

Overnight parking: For overnight parking approval from airport is required.

External handling: Approval from external handling agent is also required for flights scheduled outside airport opening hours.
